Inventory may be a little low around the area currently, but don't let that scare you if you are thinking of buying or selling. History shows inventory will start to increase during March. Lost in the mortgage process?
Many clients I work with feel overwhelmed initially by the process of getting a mortgage or may be confused and don't know where to start. That's why I'm here to help guide you through the process step by step, so you feel confident and secure in your decision to buy a home. Here's a list of a few things you can do to start preparing yourself:

1.) Determine your budget. Consider monthly income, debts and down payment. Important to be realistic, last thing you want is more house than you can afford.

2.) Get pre-approved (through me of course), so you'll be ready to make an offer when you find a home.

3.) Talk with me about any paperwork/documentation you will need to provide, ask questions on things you are unsure about, don't be shy or feel it's a dumb question, I'm here to help!

4.) Offer is accepted and all documentation is reviewed by underwriting. Note, underwriting may come back a few times to ask for additional documentation, don't feel discouraged, this is normal.

5.) Attend closing, sign paperwork and pay closing costs.

6.) Start making monthly payments! If you are able to I advise to pay more than your monthly payment, pay off that loan faster!
