Experience and Background
I attended Campbell University where I earned my MBA, a bachelor's degree in trust and wealth management and a minor in financial planning. While in school, I met my husband and best friend, Chad McMichael, who also happens to be a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Both Chad and I were Division 1 college athletes, playing football and tennis respectively for Campbell
University. Upon graduation, I moved to Tampa, FL where I worked as an Assistant Vice President-Trust Advisor for Regions Bank in their private wealth department. A few years later, I decided to move to South Riding, VA where I continued to grow as an advisor, including earning my CFP® designation. The CFP® certification process, administered by CFP Board, identifies to the public that those individuals who have been authorized to use the CFP® certification marks in the U.S. have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients. As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it’s important to invest my time in understanding what is most important to you and to develop a financial strategy uniquely tailored for you and your family. I spend one-on-one time with each of my clients to ensure they get the attention they deserve. Whether you need to save for a child’s college education, reduce taxes or plan for retirement, I can help. Please call or stop by my office, or visit www.edwardjones.com/lourdes-mcmichael for more information.
