We were thrilled to team up with Newman to help stock our local food pantries! There is nothing better than seeing great community spirit in action, and we are incredibly proud to play a part in keeping our neighborhood thriving. Thank you to everyone involved in making this effort a success!

Happy birthday to our wonderful teammate, Lynette Stutzke Ceruzzi! If you know Lynette, she will tell you ”she is the glue that holds the office together!”

We hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy your birthday! -Mike and Team

PS… We tried to find a picture of you working at your desk and couldn’t come up with anything. I hope it’s okay we used this picture instead😉!

Fire prevention week is just around the corner. We recently stopped by the Sterling Fire Department to drop off fire prevention kits packed with materials for our community. As we head into October, keeping our neighborhood safe is a top priority. These kits are filled with essential guidelines on how to safely charge your devices and prevent battery fires. A huge thank you to the SFD for partnering with us to keep Sterling safe!

Darn it!

PARADE CANCELLED.

Under guidance from Sterling and Rock Falls police departments, we have unfortunately made the tough decision to cancel today's parade due to weather.

We are truly sorry to have to make this announcement. We know how much time, energy, and excitement our participants, volunteers, and community put into this event each year. However, the safety of our community, parade participants, and spectators must come first.

There is not a rain date, due to the extensive coordination required with IDOT, law enforcement, and our community partners. We appreciate your understanding and support as we make this decision with the safety of our community in mind.
Thank you to everyone who helped prepare for this year’s celebration, and we hope to see you back with us next year!

Save the Date: Saturday, September 18, 2027

We still want to see your Fiesta Spirit! If you have photos from previous parades, drop them in the comments and lift our spirit!

Thank you for organizing such a great event! We are glad to have been a part of it.

Thank you to Mike Sprague - State Farm Agent team who presented a check to the SVACC Golf Committee! Their "Hit the Green" game during our golf outing was a fun time and raised $520 for the Charles A. Farnham Business Scholarship that is awarded annually to local students pursuing a business degree. Thank you Mike and team!
