We are sorry to announce that Texacon is on an indefinite hiatus. Due to complications, the staff of Texancon have agreed to pause in convention activities to collect our bearings. There are hopes for another convention however the plans are still unclear and will be separate from the Anime Club of Tarleton.

We are sorry that our first post in a long time is bad news, but we hope you understand. We thank everyone who has been with us and we hope you look forward to whatever comes next in the possible future.

Hello! It's been awhile since our last post. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer, especially with Pokemon Go!

Just a couple heads up though first!
- make sure to be hydrated!
- look up often when walking around!
- It's better with a buddy~
- And have fun!

There are people out there who like to voice out on things they don't like and there have been incidents on the news regarding Pokemon Go (though that isn't stopping me from playing it ^^) so I just want everyone to enjoy and have fun while being safe!

Don't disturb others. Don't walk on roads and be an annoyance even if there's a rare Pokemon there (it's not worth your life sadly). Ignore what people say. And go catch them all!

An annual anime and comic book convention hosted by the Tarleton State University Anime Club. TexanCon is a group effort of the Stephenville Tarleton community with staff, faculty and students support. Proceeds go to fund student scholarships and student organizations.
