Scam alert! Please read this notice from the Erath County Tax Office. We have had several people bring these in.

**SCAM**There is NO charge for filing for a homestead exemption. Homestead exemptions are done at the Erath County Appraisal District located at 1195 W South Loop. If you have a question about whether your property has the homestead designation on it, you can reach them at (254) 965-5434.
