‼ STOP LETTING BIG NAME INSURANCE COMPANIES CHOOSE WHAT YOU AND YOUR VEHICLE DESERVE ‼
Let’s clear up a common misconception:
Your insurance company does NOT have the right to tell you where your vehicle must be repaired. This is called steering, and it is illegal for them to do so. If you’ve been in a recent accident, you may have experienced pressure to use a “preferred” shop, delays in claim approvals or short-paying on claims and refusing to cover necessary repair procedures. You may also have been told that your new or like new vehicle was approved for repairs only with non-OEM parts, aftermarket, or salvage parts.
Here’s the reality. Many insurance companies are focused on controlling costs- not necessarily ensuring that your vehicle is repaired the way that the manufacturer intended. When an insurance company delays approvals, or refuses to pay for documented repair procedures, it doesn’t hurt the insurance company. It hurts YOU! Your vehicle sits longer. The repairs take longer. The completion of the repair takes longer.
As collision repair professionals, our responsibility to our customers is to repair vehicles safely and properly- not to cut corners to meet an insurance company’s budget.
Don’t let the insurance company mislead you into believing lies about your repair shop. Our shop will never charge you storage fees while waiting on your vehicle to be repaired. Don’t allow the insurance company to tell you that using a non-preferred shop will delay timeline on getting your vehicle in, that you will be charged more, or that it will delay repair time. Our priority is getting our customers on the books, in for repair, and back on the road as quickly as possible. The insurance company is not aware of a shop’s schedule, timeline for ordering and getting parts in, or for repairs.
YOUR vehicle, YOUR choice!
