In case your home is in the path of a wildfire, I recommend taking some steps to help firefighters put a stop to it.

1. Look at your property from the road to make sure your address is visible.

2. If you have gates around your property, check to ensure they swing inward and that the opening is large enough for emergency crews to enter with their equipment.

3. Keep a ladder handy that is long enough to reach your roof. It may help firefighters gain quick access.

When I was a kid, there was always that one dog that chased my bike the second it hit the street. Now I’m older and apparently dogs have graduated to chasing motorcycles too. 😂
