To my family, friends, and clients who have placed your trust in Dawn Corbett Insurance Agency for your insurance needs, I am truly grateful for your loyalty and kindness. It has been a privilege to serve you throughout the years. With over 45 years in the insurance industry, owning my own agency for the past 12 years has been the highlight of my career.
I am reaching out with a mix of excitement and bittersweet emotions to share that I have decided to retire. I look forward to spending more time with my husband, children, grandchildren, and family. I will genuinely miss y'all and the joy of being your local insurance agent.
My business will now be managed by Roberts Insurance Agency, with Tracy, who has been part of our team for over 10 years. I have known Scott for more than 40 years, and I am confident that they will ensure a smooth transition while continuing to meet your insurance needs for many years to come. Additionally, Myra has chosen to stay home to support her husband and help care for her grandchildren.
I will always cherish the time we've spent together, knowing that my life has been profoundly impacted by the opportunity to serve you and your families. I want to take a moment to honor my father, David L. Hodges, who has passed on to be with the Lord. He was my greatest supporter and mentor, inspiring me with his unwavering belief in my potential. He instilled in me and my agency a commitment to serve the Starke community and its surrounding areas. My parents, David and Retha Hodges, would often stop by the office as part of their morning routine to share prayers and offer wise counsel.
My office will remain open at 116 N Walnut St until June 30th.

Through all the tears we've shed, the laughter we've enjoyed, and the stories we've shared about children, animals, and farm life, I want you to know that this decision has not come easily. However, I truly feel that I am ready for this next chapter.
