This is the last day of Summer School at Hustonville Elementary. Students are coloring in the Lincoln County Farm coloring book the Farm Bureau Women’s Committee designed and gave to the students. The teacher read all the facts to students the day before.

Free admission to the water park for all Lincoln County Farm Bureau members on June 25th from 7:30 pm-9:30 pm. Bring your Farm Bureau membership card for admission. Come out and enjoy the water park free of charge. This is our way of saying ‘Thanks’ for your continued patronage.

Lincoln County Farm Bureau Federation sponsored the spelling bee for Lincoln County Board of Education with cash prizes of $50 for 3rd place, $75 for 2nd, and $125 for 1st. 3rd place winner was from Crab Orchard. 2nd place was from Waynesburg and 1st place was from Crab Orchard.

Lincoln County Farm Bureau Federation sponsored two students who attended IFAL (Institute for Future Agricultural Leaders) the last 2 weeks. Shelby Howard attended Murray State University and Landon Whobrey attended University of Kentucky. IFAL is a great experience and an excellent opportunity for students.

Shout out to the Lincoln County Farm Bureau Ladies’ Committee. We are thankful for the members who took the time to read to local classes. We want to continue to educate our youth about agriculture.
