Just a reminder of the Flood Insurance reauthorization deadline. The NFIP Reauthorization Deadline Is September 30th 2024.
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) requires reauthorization from Congress by September 30th to continue renewing and issuing new NFIP flood insurance policies. If Congress does not reauthorize, thousands of policies will not be bound or renewed. In fact, the National Association of Realtors estimates a lapse would affect about 1,300 property sales each day.
