This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who gave everything for our country.

Homeownership is one of the many freedoms made possible through their sacrifice, and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to help veterans and military families navigate the homebuying process.

One of the biggest mistakes I see buyers make is waiting too long to start the conversation.

You do not need to have everything perfectly figured out before you start house shopping.

A lot of people are surprised to learn:

- they qualify sooner than they thought
- they need less cash than expected
- there are more options available than they realized

Even if you are still 3-6 months out, getting a game plan early can make the process way less stressful when the right house pops up.
