So there are plenty of questions 🥰

For the child tax credit, currently it is $2000 per child but congress is looking to pass a bill making the child tax credit $3600!!

What does that mean for those who have filed or looking to file???

Personally I recommend waiting to confirm if it will be increased or not.

You do have the option to file immediately and the IRS will make necessary adjustments.

Those filing Head of Household may want to wait to file. Biden is looking to increase the child tax credit back to $3600.

This will be decided on January 29th.

Your advance will not be affected but filing will.
