Many of our customers still use checks to pay for their insurance bills. They write the check and drop it in the mail. Problem is, the mail isn't nearly as reliable as it used to be.
There's a simple solution to that. Use your credit card to pay your insurance bill. Even if you don't like using credit to pay for expenses, you can pay off the balance the day you receive your statement. Your insurance gets paid. Your coverage continues. And it's as simple as that.

Give your insurance coverage an end of year checkup!

Getting married, moving to a new home, having a baby, or inheriting treasured family mementos are all examples of life events that can change your insurance needs. Here are a few more examples of what could lead to a change in policy

- adding a new driver to your coverage - or perhaps, removing one who is now on his or her own
- any room additions or remodeling to your home that might change
- any expensive jewelry that you or someone in your family receives as a gift
- if the appraised value of any rings or other jewelry has gone up, coverage should be adjusted
- any major purchases like boats, motorcycles or ATVs
- Consider including coverage for items such as electronics, musical instruments and artwork. Cell phones, laptops, cameras and many other types of property can also be insured on a personal articles coverage endorsement.

Sometimes, customers are convinced that another company may offer a better policy. While it' true there may be some lower rates out there, those lower rates often have built-in caveats like:

• Huge wind/hail (storm) deductibles. These could be over $10,000!
• Functional Replacement Cost vs. Full Replacement Cost
• No accident forgiveness
