Before the year gets away from you, take a moment to check in on these four areas of your financial life. 👇

1️⃣ Emergency fund
Life has a way of bringing unexpected expenses. Take a look at your current emergency savings and decide whether it still provides the cushion you need. If it’s not where you’d like it to be, set a specific savings target and work toward it consistently.

2️⃣ Retirement contributions
When was the last time you reviewed your contribution rate? If your income or financial situation has changed, consider whether you can increase the amount you’re putting toward retirement—even a small increase can add up over time.

3️⃣ Monthly budget
Your budget should reflect your current life, not the version of your life from six months ago. Review your income, recurring expenses, discretionary spending, debt payments, and savings goals. Look for areas where your money could better support your priorities.

4️⃣ Holiday savings
Instead of waiting for holiday expenses to arrive, decide now how much you realistically want to spend. Then break that amount into smaller savings goals between now and the holidays. A little planning now can help you enjoy the season without creating unnecessary financial stress later.

I was born and raised in St. Louis. I graduated from Mizzou with a degree in economics. I believe that financial confidence should feel empowering, not overwhelming. As a financial advisor and life insurance professional, I help individuals, families, and business owners create plans that support the lives they want to build.

While I work with clients from all walks of life, I'm especially passionate about helping women and women-owned businesses take control of their financial futures with confidence.
