If you know my daughter Maddy, you know she’s got a rare gift: she genuinely looks for, and finds, the fun and the good in absolutely everyone she meets. ☀️ Today, she officially turns 24! 🎂🎉Please help me wish MADDY a HAPPY BDAY!! I like to joke that I’m the Big Idiot, and she’s the Little Idiot—but the truth is, I couldn’t be prouder of the way she lives her life. She took that joyful spirit all the way to Arizona, where she spends her days hanging out with the wildlife as a zookeeper. It takes a special kind of heart to bring that much positive energy to the world every single day, and she absolutely nails it. In a world where the news wants us to focus on the storm clouds, Maddy reminds me to look for the sunshine. Find the fun in somebody today—Maddy style.
