▪️ Agree on a “pause” rule. No money moves during a stressful call or text.
▪️ Verify the request using a trusted number, such as the back of your credit card or the organization’s official website. (Do not use the information in the suspicious message.)
▪️ Never give out passwords or one-time codes.
