You’re probably shopping your home insurance the wrong way.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Thank you to those who served, those who continue to serve, and the families who carry that sacrifice alongside them.

Matching siding and roof coverage sounds amazing on paper.

One side of your home gets damaged… insurance replaces the other sides so everything matches.

But here’s the question almost nobody asks:

Is it worth turning a smaller claim into a much larger one?

Every claim you make goes on your insurance history.

And right now, insurance carriers are tightening up hard.

Most companies look back 5–7 years at claim history, and they’re paying very close attention to frequency, not just severity.

After running a full replacement cost estimate on the home, we uncovered something alarming.
