𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬

There’s a lot more to a career in this business than what ends up on the results sheet.

Clay Volmer has spent years building his career, from success in the cutting pen to becoming a familiar name at the highest levels of reined cow horse.

Along the way have come some pretty special horses and some big wins, including a Hackamore Classic Championship, a Snaffle Bit Futurity Intermediate Open Championship, and the 2023 Tres Osos Cow Horse Derby Open Championship aboard Metallic Casanova.

Different horses. Different chapters. A whole lot of miles in between.

That’s 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, and that’s what 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙨 is all about.

We’re proud to have Clay and Volmer Cutting & Reined Cow Horses on and even prouder to call him a friend.

𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗦 | 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

It takes a lot to get to the top. It takes even more to stay there. Chris Dawson has surpassed $3 million in NRCHA earnings, with a career that includes some pretty special moments, including winning the 2024 Snaffle Bit Futurity aboard Life By The Drop.

But behind those numbers is 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

The long days. The horses. The preparation. The commitment to getting better, even after you’ve already proven you can win at the highest level.

That’s what 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬 is all about.

We’re proud to have Chris and Dawson Performance Horses LLC on and looking forward to cheering them on in Fort Worth.

Good luck, Chris!

The wins are the part everyone sees.

The championships. The big checks. The names everyone knows.

But there’s a whole lot more behind them.

The early mornings, long drives, great horses, tough days and all the work that happens long before anyone walks into the show pen.

That’s the part of this industry we’ve always respected most.

Leading up to NRCHA the Snaffle Bit Futurity, we’re taking some time to recognize a few of the people we’re fortunate to have on . Not just for what they’ve won, but for everything it took to get there.

More Than the Wins.
