WealthCare Retirement Solutions

WealthCare Retirement Solutions Helping clients develop and conserve wealth, retire vitally, and transfer wealth and values to success The tax code mandates the payment of select taxes.

When running a business or retiring, if you don’t get the taxes right, nothing else matters. We show you provisions in the IRS tax code that you aren’t using, but should be. These provisions will reduce your income taxes immediately -- this year and every year into the future. Would you be interested in saving thousands in income tax each year?

→ A construction company saved $95,364
→ A veterinar

ian saved $73,248
→ A contractor saved $133,058
→ A building owner saved $46,313

Imagine how you could use that extra money — for family, retirement, to reinvest, and to grow your business. Other taxes apply *only* if you don’t use the exceptions, and many CPAs don’t use those exceptions unless you specifically instruct them to. In fact, many CPAs don’t even know about these exceptions. We have a proven approach that has saved business owners thousands in tax overpayment across the US. Our simple solution begins with a review of your business structure, tax returns, property leases, healthcare, employee benefits, and other expenses to determine the best strategy to get back the money you’re freely handing to the IRS. It’s guaranteed: If we don’t find taxes that are at least double our fee, then our service is free — we’ll refund your fee and you won’t pay anything.

Managing your money is not the same as having a retirement plan.

In this clip, Barry Watts explains why going into retirement without a comprehensive strategy can leave important questions unanswered. Where will your income come from? How will taxes be managed? What happens financially when one spouse dies? How would long-term care affect the family?

Investment management matters, but Barry explains that it is only one part of a holistic retirement plan. Chasing higher returns or taking more market risk than you actually need can create problems you can’t overcome.

A retirement plan should be built around the life you need your money to support, not simply around what the market is doing.

This is what WealthCare Family Night is all about. ⚾💙💚

On July 31, we welcomed clients, families, and friends to our 3rd Annual WealthCare Family Night at the Springfield Cardinals game.
From time together before the game to Barry Watts throwing out the first pitch and Jeremy Zickefoose singing “God Bless America,” it was a night filled with great memories. But our favorite part was simply getting to spend time with the people who make the WealthCare family what it is. Take a look back at some of the highlights from the night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this year’s Family Night such a special evening.

How do you plan for a grandchild’s education when you do not know what their future will look like?

They may attend a state university, choose a private school, pursue a trade, or follow another path entirely. That can make deciding how much to set aside difficult.

In this clip, Barry Watts discusses the questions grandparents should consider when including education in their legacy plan and how a 529 account may provide a tax-advantaged way to help fund future education expenses.

The goal is not simply to choose a number. It is to create a flexible plan that can support the opportunities your grandchildren may pursue.

Even a carefully prepared estate plan can lead to family conflict if people are surprised by what it says.

Open communication, clear estate planning documents, and the right person or institution serving as executor or trustee can help reduce confusion and disagreements.

In this clip, Barry Watts explains why being upfront about your wishes and considering a neutral professional may help preserve family harmony when your estate is settled.

This is an example of how much crappy advice is out there on social media.

The top left box: your wife will have to pay tax on the income, so there was no advantage.

The bottom left box: when children are direct beneficiaries of an asset, that asset already avoids probate.

The people who post this stuff are uninformed at the least, and maliciously in error at the worst. And they are totally unaccountable.

Trust the planner you can sit across the table from and look in the eye.

Will, trust, or beneficiary designations: which approach fits your estate?

There is no single answer that works for every family. A trust may provide additional control and privacy in some situations, but it can also add complexity. For certain assets, properly completed beneficiary designations may be a simpler part of the solution.

In this clip, Barry Watts explains why your estate plan should be based on what you own, who you want to protect, and how you want your assets transferred.

The important part is making sure your wishes are documented correctly rather than leaving your family to sort them out later.

You do not have to wait until you are gone to pass wealth to your family.

Annual gifting may allow you to help children, grandchildren, or other loved ones while you are still here to see the difference it makes. In 2026, an individual can generally give up to $19,000 to each recipient under the annual federal gift-tax exclusion.

In this clip, Barry Watts explains how gifting during your lifetime can become part of a tax-aware legacy plan and potentially reduce the amount left in your taxable estate.

It is one of several strategies families and business owners may consider when deciding how and when to transfer wealth.

Your generosity does not have to end when your lifetime does.

Many people faithfully support their church or favorite charities throughout their lives, but never consider including those same organizations in their legacy plan.

In this clip, Barry Watts explains how charitable giving can be both personal and strategic. Tools such as donor-advised funds may help families organize their giving, support the causes they care about, and potentially receive tax benefits along the way.

Legacy planning is not only about what you leave to your family. It is also about the impact you want to continue making.
