Took a PI test recently and my result was “Strategist.”
It described someone who is driven, competitive, people-focused, and good at solving problems to get results.
I actually laughed when I read through all of the descriptions… that’s basically what a loan officer does every day.
To be most effective to home buyers you have to:
• Build trust with people quickly
• Solve problems when deals get tricky
• Move fast when timelines matter
• Stay persistent until the job is done
Every loan has a different story. Every client has a different situation. That’s what keeps the job interesting.
I would say what I love most about my career is the: “Can we actually buy a home?” to holding the keys at closing.
That feeling is something that I can't describe. I consider it a profound responsibility when a homebuyer trusts me with their largest financial decision.
