We just picked this house up from a local bank on the north side of Springfield.

Interesting part about this one:
The banker had actually been receiving postcards from us for years because of rental properties he personally owns. Then the bank itself ended up foreclosing on this property and gave us a call.

This house definitely needs work:
✔ bathroom gut
✔ kitchen updates
✔ paint and drywall
✔ electrical repairs

But overall, it has solid potential.

The hardwood floors are still in decent shape, there’s a functional layout, and the added mudroom/laundry room is a nice bonus for a rental property.

Biggest concern right now is the electrical. Looks like someone got a little too confident working inside the panel 😅

Now we’ve got to decide:
👉 keep it as a rental or flip it?
