We have been made aware of fraudulent phone calls in which scammers are claiming to be representatives of Legacy Bank. In some cases, these callers may use technology to “spoof” phone numbers, making it appear that the call is coming from a legitimate source—even our bank’s phone number.

Please remember:

✅ Always verify who you are speaking with before sharing any personal or financial information.

✅ If you receive a call claiming to be from our bank and are unsure, hang up and call us back using a known phone number, such as the number listed on our website, or a recent bank statement.

✅ We will never call you and ask for information we should already have on file, such as:
• Social Security Number
• Full account number
• Debit card number
• Online banking credentials
• Phone number or other personal information

Protect yourself by staying cautious and taking a moment to verify before you share any information. If you have any concerns about a call you receive, please contact us directly.

Last week at our Sparta, MO branch, Marilyn, Teresa and Brenda were featured on KY3 for some well-deserved recognition of their combined 134 years of service to our organization.

These ladies embody the care and relationship we have built the Legacy foundation on, and they each continue to uphold our standard of excellence to this day. Please join us in celebrating and thanking this trio for helping to make generations of customers feel like family.
