Our unexpected extended stay in New York turned into one more unforgettable memory.

We crossed something off the bucket list—a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. What a game! ⚾️

We are thankful for wonderful friends that got us the Yankee tickets. They helped us turn a stressful situation into a great experience!

We’ve had an incredible trip, but there’s one guy we’re pretty sure is ready for us to come home… 🐾 Otis, we’ll see you soon!

What does the NYSE have to do with someone buying a home in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, or anywhere else in SW Missouri?

The NYSE does not directly set mortgage rates. However, financial markets respond to inflation, employment reports, economic growth, Federal Reserve expectations, and investor confidence. Those forces can influence the bond market-and mortgage pricing.

What happens on Wall Street can eventually affect what a family pays to purchase a home on your street.

My job is to pay attention to those larger financial signals, translate the headlines into understandable information, and help my clients make decisions based on goals- not fear or speculation.

I left the NYSE even more proud to be a mortgage broker. Being a broker allows me to compare lenders, explore different options, and find solutions designed around the borrower.
