I never thought that helping people with their health insurance would be a path that I would take… then life happened. Ten years ago my husband got sick and without insurance (and the right plan) we would have had a mountain of debt over the next years and I don’t know how we would have been able to climb that hurdle.

A good friend of ours mentioned how he thought I would be a good fit for helping people navigate the insurance world. I always told him that insurance was a whole different language that I didn’t understand. I was so glad that we had his help as a resource when insurance questions came up or the morning that I needed to call an ambulance. I want to help people like that.

I have talked to people in our lives that didn’t know how to figure out the best options for themselves and then friends who had major health things happen to them as well. We don’t want to see anyone around us have to add the stress of major medical debt or uncertainty while they are dealing with medical circumstances.

This step became our “do the next right thing”! To be honest, I am excited about being able to help people and to be there for them. Know that you can call, text or message me and I am here to help you. If I don’t know the answer I will do what needs to be done to find it out. I love that I get to be a part of the team at Hometown Benefits Group. They are a wealth of knowledge and have a true heart for people.
