Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Christopher Dixon

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Christopher Dixon In my practice, however, our most important work is always done with your big picture in mind. Our team is based in Springfield, MO.

As a financial advisor, I often see people chasing the highs and lows of the market, rather than investing for the long term and understanding how important it is to keep their eye on the end game. Being allowed into someone's life, getting to know them and their families personally, and helping them transform their life's dreams and goals into reality, is the best part of what I've found to be a

very rewarding career. I have called Springfield my home for over two decades, and earned my Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree from Missouri State University. However, I'm originally from a small town, and I hold a special place in my heart for the smaller Ozark towns that help to make up the rich fabric of our SW Missouri community. Our clients come from all walks of life, some of which include:

- Professionals such as attorneys, accountants and engineers

- Professionals making a career change or transition

- Pastors and church professionals with questions regarding charitable giving and retirement

- Healthcare executives and physicians

- Serious investors looking for a long-term relationship with a financial professional willing to listen to their individual concerns, questions and needs

- High-net-worth families with complex financial needs

Outside of the office, my wife and I, along with our two sons, love spending time outdoors and all things Kansas City Chiefs. We enjoy traveling and watching our older son swim. I've run five marathons in the last 10 years and numerous 5 and 10ks. I look forward to learning more about you and your story. Edward Jones brings a century of expertise to the table – when you combine that with my desire to get to know you personally, you have a combination that is hard to beat! This "higher-for-longer" interest rate environment may present compelling opportunities in short-term fixed income, while equities can continue to be supported by strong and broadening earnings growth. That’s why confidence is just as important as the numbers. If you’ve been wanting more clarity, let’s talk.

After beginning the year with markets pricing in multiple rate cuts, a sharply accelerating labor market and energy-driven inflation have meaningfully shifted the outlook toward potential policy tightening — creating a more complex backdrop for equities and fixed income alike. Senior Economist James McCann explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

Edward Jones’ new research with Gallup shows something powerful: Only 16% of Americans are financially fulfilled, meaning their finances support the life they want. But financial wellbeing isn’t defined by income or net worth alone. It’s driven by confidence, alignment with personal values and a sense of security and direction.

As investors look beyond Middle East tensions, U.S. economic fundamentals are coming into sharper focus, driven by an accelerating AI investment and robust corporate profit growth, reinforcing the constructive case for equities. However, elevated inflation may keep rate cuts off the table and limit near-term progress in bond markets.
