“One of the most meaningful pieces of advice I’ve ever received comes from the “juggling balls” analogy. In life and in your career, you’re always juggling several balls—family, work, health, friendships. Some are glass, and some are plastic.
The real wisdom is learning which ones are glass on any given day, because those can’t be dropped without breaking. Some days, work is the glass ball. Other days, it’s your family or your health. Recognizing that has helped me navigate tough decisions, protect what matters most, and give myself grace in the process.”
