I got this thought on the way home from school drop off and wanted to share it in hopes that someone finds it encouraging.
I had a client get denied for a mortgage two years ago. Instead of giving up, they put in the work. Built their credit, reduced their debt, got a raise, improved their DTI, and saved money. Today they’re back and ready to buy.
No doesn’t mean never. It means not yet.
My job is to give you the tools and resources to understand the process so you know exactly what you need to do to get to a qualified position. But here’s the hard truth. Nobody’s gonna do it for you.
If you’re not making your payments, not working on your credit score, and spending everything you make every month with nothing going to savings, you’re going to stay stuck. And that’s not a judgment. I don’t fault anyone for starting from zero when it comes to financial knowledge. But staying there? That’s a choice.
