Yes, there were still schools in session last week. Allison Clements, the 5th and 6th grade life skills interventionist, was their crystal apple. She has a lot of work to do. Mike was able to celebrate the last day of school with her and all the teachers at West Carrollton Intermediate School. Congratulations Allison!

Tyler was out at Bridgeport two weeks ago to celebrate the end of the school year. He was able to celebrate with principal Stephanie Oakes their Crystal Apple winner. Congratulations to Rhonda Emmerling on her great work this year. She does double duty. Not only is she a great sixth grade teacher, but she is also a union representative. She works very hard for both students and teachers at Bridgeport. Congratulations to Rhonda!

Big celebration last Tuesday with Hamilton City School District last Tuesday. They say it better than we ever could. Congratulations Kim!

Last night at our board meeting, the incredible Kim Brandner was honored with the prestigious Horace Mann Crystal Owl Award! 🦉✨

As a dedicated manager in our Food Service department, Kim goes above and beyond every single day to ensure our students and staff are well-nourished, supported, and greeted with a smile. She doesn't just manage a cafeteria; she builds community and fuels our future.

We are so proud to have her as part of our Hamilton City School District family. Thank you, Kim, for your outstanding commitment, hard work, and the remarkable care you pour into our schools!

Winton Woods celebrated their dedicated staff last week. Here is Mike with all the winners. Winners were Beth Hooper and Matt Brown from WW South Campus, Polly Warren from district office, Madison Conn from WWMS, Austin Green from WWHS and Kellie Canter from WWECC. Congratulations to all.

Stephanie Jones has been teaching at Franklin for years. She was at Anthony Wayne and finished her career at FJHS. I am sure she can help Tyler with his English. Congratulations!

Always the gentleman! He was nice enough to hold the Crystal Apple for Melissa. Melissa Edwards is retiring from Franklin High School. She has been teaching English for years. I am sure Tim could learn a few things from her.

Tim loves this time of year. He really enjoyed celebrating with the teachers who are retiring. Here he is with Tammy Turner. She is retiring from Central Office. She has worn many hats over the years, most recently she was the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent, Robyn Donisi. What will Robyn do without you?
