Teachers are a rare breed, they wake up each morning, get ready for their day and make it to school before the kids get there. They prepare and think about an agenda for the day prior to the day happening, come with love and compassion for kids that aren’t even theirs. We don’t pay our teachers enough, but we can pay it forward when we work with our teachers, no matter what business we are in. 💭🙇🏻‍♀️

I had the honor and joy of working with Jennifer Cruz Saravia, referred to me by my long time, friend and partner, Jenny Correa, and she came to me with a scenario that could was a little sticky and personal as she was buying a home built for her by her uncle. 🏡

Jenny and I strategized a plan that would work to suit everyone’s needs in the transaction. The smile says it all. Not only were we able to craft the loan to where Jennifer did not come to closing with any money, she has also been refunded part of her appraisal fee paid. As an extra incentive, she was given back 2 additional credits/grants from closing as part of a housing initiative from Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation and Southeast Housing Corporation and by participating in Freddie Mac HFA program. The icing on the cake was incorporating a MCC which is a mortgage interest savings and gift that will keep on putting money back into her pocket as long as she lives in the property as her primary residence and for the term of the loan. 💵💸💰
