Unless specifically instructed, Organization staff and independent contractors are not authorized, and therefore restricted, to speak on behalf of the Organization. Organization staff and contractors may not publicly discuss clients, products, Organization staff or contractors, or any work-related matters, whether confidential or not, outside Organization-authorized communications. Organization staff and contractors are expected to protect the privacy of the Organization, its affiliates and subsidiaries, its Organization staff and contractors, and its clients, and are prohibited from disclosing personal information and any other proprietary and nonpublic information to which Organization staff and contractors have access. Such information includes, but is not limited to, customer information, trade secrets, financial information, and strategic business plans.
Employer Monitoring
Organization staff and contractors are cautioned that they should have no expectation of privacy using the Internet. Organization staff and contractor postings can be reviewed by anyone, including your coworkers, manager, supervisors, and others associated with the Organization. Reporting Violations
The Organization requests and strongly urges Organization staff and contractors to report any violations, perceived violations, or possible violations to Organization management. Discipline for Violations
The Organization investigates and responds to all reports of violations of the Social networking policy and other related policies. Violation of the Organization’s Social Media policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination. Discipline or termination will be determined based on the nature and factors of any blog or Social networking post.
