When you're a family-owned business, sometimes you have to change your business hours up a little. Next week, July 31-August 4, our regular business hours might be more sporadic than usual. To be sure we can best serve your needs, please give us a call before stopping by so we can be sure someone will be there assist you.

We are a small, family-owned business, and as such, we will be closed on December 29 through 31 so that our family can spend a few days together celebrating another successful year of business. We look forward to helping you again in the new year after we've taken a few days to refresh ourselves so we can come back with fresh ideas to help you envision all your 3D printing possibilities.

Thomas' parents got out and about in Nashville yesterday to tour the Chihuly exhibit. They looked cute and stayed safe wearing masks designed by Envision 3D Printing to meet N95 standards. Our masks are washable, comfortable with a soft foam lining on the parts that touch your face, and have a replaceable 3-layer filter.

These ended up being far too expensive to make as one-offs, so when these are gone, we won't be taking more individual orders. We could fulfill larger quantity orders if a group, organization, or business is interested, though.

Envision 3D Printing is happy to be able to offer reusable, lightweight, adjustable, cleanable ABS plastic face masks. We designed these with first responders in mind, and that means they work great for anyone!

• Elastic straps are adjustable by simply pulling both tabs.
• Mask is designed to be lightweight and flexible for comfort.
• Foam cushion provides added comfort and creates a seal. The seal also helps prevents fogging of glasses or goggles.
• ABS 3D-printed mask has been chemically smoothed, which seals together print layers to prevent air/moisture intrusion which can lead to trapped bacteria.This is the benefit of ABS over PLA, which is primarily used by home printers and cannot be v***r smoothed.
• Entire mask, including foam and elastic, can be washed with soap and water. Plastic surfaces can also be wiped down with isopropyl alcohol.
• Comes with two (2) sets of replaceable filters in addition to installed filters. True Blue FPR2-rated pre-filters can be washed and re-used. 3M Filtrete 2800 MERV 14 rated primary filter can be disinfected and re-used.

Just a note to say that Envision 3D Printing is open to meet all your 3D printing needs. We are taking the COVID-19 precautions very seriously and sanitizing thoroughly and often to keep our shop spic-and-span. We operate a lean ship anyway, so there are only a handful of employees on-site, and we pretty much work and go home.

That said, we can perform turnkey 3D printing projects without ever seeing our customers face-to-face. Many of our customers like to stop by the shop and have a visit, but we've never seen most of them. 3D models can be sent electronically, and we can ship your parts back to you when they're complete. The rest can be handled via phone or email.

At Envision 3D Printing, we pride ourselves on providing nothing short of the absolute best product to every client, and we are seeking multiple qualified individuals who take just as much pride in their work for freelance mechanical design opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with an engineer (owner or client) to create designs as needed in SolidWorks or Fusion**
• Creating 2D detail drawings as required

**Some clients require SolidWorks while others use Fusion. Since we are seeking multiple freelancers for this position, knowing one or the other is acceptable.

The ideal candidate will:
• Be proficient in Fusion and/or SolidWorks**
• Hold an associate degree or greater
• Have a minimum of 1 year, preferred 3-5 years, 3D design experience
• Possess knowledge of 3D printing technology
• Be a forward-thinker
• Take initiative
• Be able to take direction and run with it

Hourly rate will be based on experience, starting at $25/hour. You will be required to sign an NDA. This is a freelance position. Hours are flexible provided the client’s deadline is met. This freelance opportunity can easily be worked around another full-time position as long as it’s not a direct competitor of Envision 3D Printing or our client. However, in most cases, this job will require work to be performed onsite at Envision 3D Printing in Spring, Texas.
