🍁 Fall is almost here, and local apples are in! To celebrate apple season, we’re highlighting Ohio-grown apples from Quarry Hill Orchards in Berlin Heights, Ohio. Each week, we’ll feature a different variety available this season!

To kick things off, we’re starting with one of the most well-known favorites: Honeycrisp! 🍎

Crisp and aromatic, Honeycrisp apples are a seasonal staple. They're incredibly versatile, perfect for adding a crisp, fresh bite to salads, and they work beautifully in sauces, butters, pies, and desserts.

This morning, looking at the sunrise over the farm, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful. 🌅

Harvest is hard work. It’s long days, early mornings and a season that asks a lot from our family and our team, but it’s also beautiful. This farm has held generations of family memories, first dates, engagements, weddings, birthday celebrations and traditions that families return to year after year.

We’ve been blessed with so much here, and we want to use this season to do even more for our community. ❤️

This fall, Thursday nights are Burnham’s Give Back Nights and we still have a few nights available for local charities, nonprofits, schools, teams and community organizations!

On Give Back Nights:
🍎 Festival activities are open
🚜 Two hayrides are scheduled before sunset
🛝 The Mega Slide is open
🏰 The bounce house is open
🌽 The corn maze is closed

Instead of operating the evening as a normal festival night, Burnham’s gives the proceeds remaining after labor costs directly to the participating organization.

Organizations have two options:

1. Bring three volunteers to help operate the evening, allowing even more of the proceeds to go back to your cause.
2. Let our team staff and operate the evening, with the labor cost deducted before the remaining proceeds are donated.

The catch? You have to help bring the crowd! Your organization promotes the night, invites its supporters and encourages the community to come enjoy an evening at the orchard. The more people who attend, the more money your organization can raise.
