During this time, the company became known as a pioneer in risk management for Common Interest Developments and continued to grow in the Real Estate insurance niche. In February 2019, Smith Insurance became part of Brown & Brown Insurance. This partnership with the sixth largest national insurance brokerage has enabled Smith Insurance to become as connected nationally as it is locally.
