Heed this advice!!!

These types of surge protectors are designed to handle between 1500 and 1800 watts of power. A small space heater is 1500 watts or better. Please DO NOT plug space heaters in these. Now is also the time to make sure your home has a fire extinguisher and everyone in the home knows where it is located.
