First National Bank of Spearville would like to extend our sincere thank you to Steve Knoeber for 26 Years of Dedicated Service on the Board of Directors (1999-2025).
Steve’s commitment to the bank and the Spearville community is not only distinguished by his
own contributions, but also by a remarkable legacy of family service that spans more than a
century. Steve’s great-grandfather, Henry Knoeber Sr, served as one of the original board
members from 1908 to 1914, helping lay the foundation for a strong, community-
focused institution. His grandfather, Henry M. Knoeber, then continued that legacy, serving an
extraordinary 50 years on the board from 1915 to 1965, guiding the bank through both
growth and challenge. Carrying forward this tradition of leadership and stewardship, Steve joined the Board in 1999 and has been a steadfast presence through 26 years of change and opportunity. Throughout his tenure, Steve has exemplified the values that define First National Bank of Spearville—integrity, stability, and a commitment to community. His insights, wisdom, and quiet strength have helped guide our institution through decades of growth while remaining
rooted in our core mission: serving the people of Spearville with trust and care.
As Steve concludes his board service in 2025, we honor not only his individual contributions but
also the extraordinary, three-generation legacy of the Knoeber family—an enduring testament to
dedication, leadership, and love for this community.
