After 32 years of serving this community as your American Family Insurance agent, the time has come for me to retire. This career has been more than just a job—it has been an opportunity to walk alongside so many of you through life’s milestones, challenges, and celebrations. For that, I am forever grateful.

As I step into this new chapter on December 1, it gives me great joy to pass the torch to Denise Gienger, who has been chosen as the next American Family Insurance agent. I am confident that Denise will bring fresh energy and the same heartfelt commitment to protecting what matters most to you and your families.

Christmas Trees & Garbage Service...
The City of Spearfish provides two free drop-off locations for Christmas tree disposal from Dec. 26 through Jan. 10. The free drop-off locations are: Spearfish City Shop at 440 Canyon Street and Restricted Use Site at 910 Camp Comfort Rd. There is no curbside pickup for Christmas trees.
The Christmas and New Year’s garbage pickup schedule are as follows: Monday customers will be picked up on Tuesday both weeks. There are no other changes to the pickup schedule

Unfortunately our systems are still down.

Last week, our technology team detected unusual activity in a portion of our network, and as a precautionary measure to protect data and resources, we shut down several business systems.
• If you need to file a claim, please call 1-800-692-6326.
• If you are unable to make a payment, you can do so when the system is back up and you will not be penalized.
• If your insurance was set to expire for non-payment during this time your policy will remain in force.
• If your insurance renews during this time, new insurance cards will be available once our systems are back online.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to begin to bring systems safely back online.
