Oh, deer! It's officially fall and that means that deer activity is on the rise, especially at dawn and dusk. Slow down, stay alert, and scan ahead on both sides of the road. Use your high beams when appropriate to help you see.
If you do encounter a deer in the roadway, don't swerve! Instead, apply the brakes firmly and use your horn.
