We’ve heard that one Medicare Advantage carrier will not be offering Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans in Cherokee County for the 2027 plan year.(Will disclose once announcement is official)

CMS has announced a new Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program that may allow eligible Medicare beneficiaries to access certain weight-loss medications for a flat $50 per month copay.

🌎 Who May Qualify?
✅ Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D members

✅ BMI 35 or higher

OR

✅ BMI 30 or higher with certain heart or kidney conditions

OR

✅ BMI 27 or higher with pre-diabetes or a history of ASCVD (atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease)

• FoundaYo®

❌ Not Included
• Ozempic®
