Grow Venture Insurance At Grow Venture Insurance we specialize in Farm, Crop, Personal, and Business Insurance. This has allowed them to focus all their time on the insurance agency.

Scheef Insurance Agency Inc was started in 1975 when Jerry and Marlynn Scheef purchased the Semper Insurance Agency from the Semper Family after Paul passed away. It is an independent agency, offering many opportunities of insurance for all sorts of needs. Jerry and Marlynn have ran the insurance agency as well as owning and operating Dolce-Scheef Mortuary, as well as doing tax preparation for man

y locals overs the years. The insurance agency has sold Crop, Property and Casualty, and Life and Health since the start. In the last few years, Jerry and Marlynn have retired from tax returns as well as sold the mortuary to close family friends and business associates, Levander’s funeral home. Marilyn Goodrich was brought onboard back in the late 80’s to help the Scheef’s in their growing business. Marilyn helps with the accounting and office responsibilities. Scott Reilly was hired as an agent in January of 2011. In November of 2011, Jerry and Marlynn, along with Scott, purchased a local insurance agency, Nebraska Rural Service, LLC from Sue Rigoll. This expanded Scheef Insurance Agency Inc’s portfolio and brought in new possibilities for the business. Currently, the agency is going strong and looking forward to continuing our service to our community and the area’s around us.

📢 The Trump Administration today announced Stage Two of disaster assistance through the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) for producers with non-indemnified (shallow loss), uncovered, and quality losses due to 2023 & 2024 natural disasters. https://www.usda.gov/about-usda/news/press-releases/2025/11/17/trump-administration-delivers-second-stage-crop-disaster-assistance-farmers

Additionally, eligible dairy operations for dumped/removed milk or producers who suffered losses of eligible harvested commodities while stored in on-farm structures due to 2023/24 natural disasters may apply for The Milk Loss Program (MLP) and On-Farm Stored Commodity Loss Program (OFSCLP) starting 11/24.
