A message from Cape Fear Credit Coach
As most our friends and followers already know, several month's ago we changed our name from The Credit Center to Cape Fear Credit Coach. Our services didn't change but the name better reflects our mission as a company. We started out as primarily a sales organization to sell credit repair services with a third party specialized credit dispute company that essentially handled the repair process and we handled sales and customer service issues. We were over all disappointed in the repair process and the outcome for the customer. While we were able to remove some negative reports on consumer credit reporting agency files and raise credit scores 40-60 points on average we never felt like our customers were actually better off in the long run. It was a temporary fix at best so they could go qualify for the house, car , boat or credit card they wanted. We changed our process to more of a personal finance coaching service that looked at house hold money management and credit issues and tried to educate and coach our customers to reach their goals and change their way of thinking and acting. Our success rate at this was fairly low. Very few people followed up with any kind of plan we laid out in our initial sessions and very few recognized the value of the service provided and guess what people with poor credit are often hard to get to pay for services.
I have moved on from the Cape Fear Region and taken a job in the mountains. Billy has dedicated himself primarily to Visalus Sciences and Dr. Palmer still winters at the beach and summer's in the mountains. Although our paths have changed we are still here to assist with personal financial issues. All of us have a passion to help people be more successful. We are in the process of determining how to best provide this service. I am going to try and either do short videos or articles on personal finances and try and instill a philosophy about money management that I hope helps interested parties.
If anyone has topics they would like to see covered please message me and we will try to address them.
Sincerely,
Tim Palmer, Billy Smart and DR. Steven Palmer
