There are some misconceptions about home health. Let’s clear a few of them up below:

MYTH #1: Needing home health means losing your independence.

Actually, the right support can help you stay stronger, safer and more independent at home.

MYTH #2: Home health is only for people who are seriously ill.

You don’t have to wait for a crisis to get support. Home health can help with recovery, managing health conditions and getting stronger.

MYTH #3: Family should be able to handle everything.

Loving someone doesn’t mean you have to do everything alone. Home health can give families added support, education and some much needed peace of mind.

MYTH #4: Home health means someone will be in your house all day.

Not necessarily. Visits are based on your individual needs and plan of care.

MYTH #5: Home health is basically just “checking in.”

It’s so much more. Home health can include skilled nursing, therapy, and other clinical services designed to help people recover and stay safely at home.

A great caregiver can become an extra set of hands, a source of reassurance, a familiar face and one of the best parts of someone’s week.

Their presence can help make it possible for someone to keep waking up in their own bed, sitting in their favorite chair and living life in the home they love.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.

A heartfelt congratulations to our Axiom Cares family on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy, Nolan Joseph!

Nolan made his world debut Wednesday morning at 5:52 AM, measuring 21 inches long and weighing 7 lbs. 11 oz.

Mom and baby are doing wonderfully, and big sister Nora is absolutely over the moon. Wonderful dad, Tyler, is also doing great.

Congratulations to the whole family! We are so happy to celebrate this beautiful new addition and wish you all so much love and happiness.
