This past weekend, my family and I spent our time volunteering at Troy Family Daze, raising money for the Troy Community Foundation.
Not only was it a chance to give back, but it was also a reminder of how powerful volunteering as a family can be:
✅ It strengthens our bond through shared purpose and teamwork.
✅ It teaches our kids firsthand the value of service and empathy.
✅ It connects us to our neighbors and the greater community.
✅ And most importantly, it creates a ripple effect—because every dollar raised goes right back into programs, projects, and grants that support Troy.
We came home tired but proud, knowing our time together made an impact bigger than ourselves.
If you’ve ever considered volunteering as a family, I can’t recommend it enough. The joy of serving together is something you’ll carry far beyond the event.
