Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-centric Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our policyholders. Your mission is to provide an exceptional service experience, build long-term trust, and seamlessly handle day-to-day client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and policy adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Inquiries: Answer incoming calls, emails, and chat messages regarding policies, coverage limits, and premiums.
Process Policy Changes: Efficiently handle client requests for policy modifications, renewals, and cancellations.
Billing Administration: Assist clients with premium payments, billing discrepancies, and processing fee changes.
Claims Guidance: Act as a helpful liaison, assisting clients with initial claim filing and explaining the claims process.
Team Collaboration: Route complex underwriting questions or upsell opportunities to licensed sales agents.
Accurate Recordkeeping: Document all client interactions, policy changes, and follow-ups within our agency management database.
Product Literacy: Maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge of our insurance products and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.
Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) (Willing to sponsor the licensing process for the right candidate).
Tech Skills: Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with Agency Management Systems or CRM tools.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of empathy.
Core Competencies: Detail-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to multitask under minimal supervision.
What We Offer
Compensation: [$40,000 to $65,000 based on experience]
