Back-to-School, Back to Smart Money Habits

The start of a new school year is a great time to help kids build money habits that will stick with them long after the school bell rings. Whether they receive an allowance, earn money from chores or get spending money for school activities, small lessons today can make a big difference tomorrow.

Try these simple ways to build financial confidence:

~Give them a spending limit. Let kids make their own choices within a set budget.
~Teach wants vs. needs. Before making a purchase, ask, “Do I need it, or do I just want it?”
