Wheelers Insurance was humbled and so, so proud to sponsor this rising star for the 2026 Maine Working Steer Team at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, MA in September - and boy oh boy, Copper did NOT disappoint! 👏

He not only won OVERALL Senior at this event, he also brought home the PRESIDENTS AWARD!!! A little extra icing on the cake was the 2026 Fryeburg Fair 4-H Show Ox Teamster Award AND the Oxford County Agricultural Fair OVERALL Senior Teamster Show Steers for 2026!

How our Referral Rewards Program works:
Each time we receive a referral, we’ll send you $2 as a thank-you for helping us stand out from the crowd. Then, we will donate $25 to our nonprofit of the month. What qualifies as a referral? A referral is when someone contacts us for a quote and says you referred them to us. Don’t worry; we ask on every call! The person you refer to doesn’t have to purchase a policy (though we hope to present a strong proposal). We then enter your name into our monthly $500 drawing.

Wheelers Insurance is collecting wrapped and unopened Halloween candy to support our wonderful neighbors at the Market Square Health Care Center for their annual Halloween Trick-or-Treating event! 🍬🍫

Any donation, big or small, is welcome and greatly appreciated. Let’s help make this Halloween extra sweet for everyone!

Keep your home warm and your family safe this season! 🔥🏡

As the temperatures drop, Union Mutual Insurance and Wheelers Insurance Agency want to remind you that a little preventative maintenance goes a long way in reducing the risk of fires, carbon monoxide exposure, and costly property damage.

Before you crank up the heat, use this quick checklist to stay safe:

• Schedule professional maintenance: Have your furnace, boiler, or heat pump serviced by a professional.
• Clean the chimney: Ensure your fireplace and chimney are professionally swept to clear out dangerous creosote buildup.
• Rule of three feet: Keep furniture, curtains, blankets, and holiday decorations at least 3 feet away from all space heaters and heat sources.
• Burn the right fuel: Only use properly seasoned hardwood in wood-burning stoves to limit soot and creosote.
• Don't overload cords: Avoid chaining power strips or pinning heavy furniture over electrical cords.
• Clear the vents: Make sure all indoor vents and outdoor air returns are free from dust, snow, and debris.
