Last weekend I had a small fire in my oven… and it could have escalated quickly.

Thankfully, I had a fire blanket right within reach. I pulled it out, covered the flames, and it was over almost instantly.

It got me thinking—this is something every homeowner should have, and most don’t.

We think about smoke detectors, but rarely about what we would actually do in the moment if a fire starts.

A simple fire blanket can:
• Put out small kitchen fires quickly
