What a wonderful evening of fellowship, gratitude, and celebration at our Treutlen Farm Bureau Annual Membership Meeting!
As we gathered to reflect on the past year, we were reminded of just how blessed we are to have such a supportive group of members and a community that believes in what we do.
We kicked off the evening with a delicious meal catered by Farmhouse Cafe followed by an opportunity to celebrate some pretty exciting milestones! President Andy Thompson, John Webb, and Steven Powell shared highlights from what has been one of the most successful and rewarding years in Treutlen Farm Bureau’s 50+ year history. From reaching our membership quota and paying off our office to receiving several awards and recognitions, we certainly have a lot to be thankful for and proud of!
We were also honored to have Attorney Daniel O’Connor (Bryant & O’Connor Law Firm) as our guest speaker. He shared some valuable and practical information about estate planning, the importance of preparing for the future, and protecting the things we’ve worked so hard to build. For those in agriculture, where farms, land, and family legacies are often passed from one generation to the next, this is an especially important topic. We sincerely appreciate him taking the time to share his knowledge with our members.
Of course, an evening like this doesn’t come together without some wonderful people lending a hand! We want to thank John Webb for delivering our meal, District 6 Federation Manager Taylor Davis for jumping right in to help serve food and drinks, and Tina and Mike Foskey for generously providing ice. We are also especially grateful for those who stayed after the meeting to help clean up. Sometimes it’s the little things, and the people who quietly step in to help without being asked, that make the biggest difference. We appreciate each of you!
A big thank you also goes to Pharis PJ’s Florals and Gifts for the beautiful gift baskets and gifts provided for our door prizes, along with the gorgeous fall floral arrangement that made everything feel a little more festive. We appreciate the special touches that helped make our evening so enjoyable!

As proud as we are of the accomplishments we’ve celebrated this year, we know that our greatest blessing is the people who stand behind this organization. Reaching goals, earning awards, and growing as an organization are wonderful achievements, but what matters most is what those accomplishments allow us to do for our farmers, our families, and our community.
For more than 50 years, Treutlen Farm Bureau has been blessed with members who believe in the importance of agriculture, education, service, and investing in the future of our county. That continued support is what makes everything we do possible.
To everyone who attended, contributed, volunteered, or supported us throughout the year, THANK YOU! We don’t take your time, generosity, or commitment for granted.
We are grateful for where we’ve been, proud of how far we’ve come, and looking forward to all that lies ahead.
