Great news dollar General will now be an authorized vendor for the Anthem Medicare Advantage Grocery Card, effective Dec 1st 2023. The following stores accept the Healthy Grocery Card
Walmart
Kroger
Save A Lot
Dollar General- effective Dec1st.

Please see below from Baptist Health Home Page. Three major health plans may lose their contract with Baptist health as of Jan. 1st. Humana has already been dropped. What does this mean? If you have any of those three plans and have Doctors in the the Baptist Health Network, as of Jan 1st. You will not have coverage and will have to pay full price to see those doctors and specialists. Please note Anthem has completed their contract for 2024 and in network for all Baptist Health Doctors and hospitals. Please call me if you have any questions. 502-443-3842

Todays topic phone scams. Client calls says she can’t get prescriptions and informed by pharmacy she has no drug coverage. Ask client if she has lost Anthem or spoke to anyone about coverage. Client informed me “Medicare” called and said she could get a better Anthem plan. However the “ better” plan has no prescription drug coverage. Somehow “ Medicare “ didn’t ask about prescriptions. Now client can not get needed prescriptions due to some scammer trying to make a buck.

Happy to announce Save a Lot grocery stores are now accepting the Anthem grocery/otc card! Effective immediately. I know alot of my clients have been asking me about using their cards there and happy to announce they now can. Please help spread the word.

Started the morning off with a nearly every day occurrence. Client calls says “Medicare called me and said blah blah”

Medicare will NEVER call you, unless you call them and request a call back.

Hey everyone this is my new Medicare Insurance Page for clients, potential clients, and folks who have general questions about Medicare. I have been with Anthem Medicare for 7 years and blessed to have met thousands of amazing folks across Kentucky, Tenn, Ohio, and Indiana. I have clients in each of these states, but the majority are here in my community of Somerset and across Southeast Kentucky. Having the ability to help Medicare recipients and their families understand their Medicare options is a rewarding experience, I never imagined doing as a farm boy growing up. I’m excited to update folks routinely through social media and look forward to helping folks navigate through Medicare waters.

This page will cover various topics about Medicare plans, and educational resources for Medicare recipients, in the ever changing insurance world. Will also be updating folks on Medicare news, dates, plan changes for 2024 and special elections.
