Expense Ratio: What Does It Really Cost to Own a Fund?
A mutual fund or ETF may look simple on the outside.
But behind the scenes, there’s usually a cost called an expense ratio. 💸
Think of it as the fund’s management fee.
For example:
0.10% = generally low cost ✅
1.25% = generally expensive ⚠️
That difference may not sound huge.
But over time, fees can quietly eat into your returns.
You wouldn’t pay $30 for a $5 sandwich, right? 🥪
Same idea with investments.
The cost matters.
