Getting ready to host Thanksgiving? A little planning goes a long way. A few clever tricks can make the day easier and more fun.

Stage your space for flow. Move a few chairs or rearrange furniture so people naturally gather where you want them (and stay out of the kitchen while you're cooking).

Create a "drop zone." A basket by the door for coats and bags keeps your space organized and clutter-free as guests arrive.

The Borough increased the residential tax exemption to $75,000 – which means you must reapply for 2026.
